A building located in the historic centre of the city, between the Rambla and the Sant Ferran Castle. It is a 17th-century house that preserves the only remains that are visible from the old medieval wall that defended the town of Figueres. A corner building that takes advantage of its location with a wide tower. On the ground floor we find a large central entrance portal and two smaller side ones, all framed by voussoirs. On the first floor, balconies and windows alternate with large stone lintels, broken façades and the cornice is supported on corbels. It was renovated in 1931 by the architect Pelayo Martínez Paricio. Salvador Dalí converted it into the Galatea tower as a tribute to Gala and in honour of all enigmas. It is currently forms part of the Dalí Museum.
