The church of Sant Nazari is located in the Olives annexation, about two kilometres northwest of the town of Peralada. It is a free-standing building with a single nave and a semi-circular apse, which has undergone numerous modifications over the years. The entrance, a simple lintelled doorway, is located in the centre. There is a semi-circular arch window in the apse, which still has an old slab roof, and a small elongated opening in the frontispiece. The nave, with whitewashed walls, has a brick vault ceiling and the apse has a quarter-sphere vault ceiling. The triumphal arch is semi-circular. The bell gable has a single opening. Sant Nazari de les Olives is a Romanesque building that likely dates to the 12th-13th centuries, although it has undergone numerous modifications over the years. The remains of the first building can be found in the apse; none of the nave’s medieval elements have been preserved.
