The Romanesque church of Sant Miquel belonged to the old village of Colera, located in the final foothills of the Albera, on an elevated plateau. Separated from the current town of Colera, Sant Miquel de Colera was constructed in the 12th or 13th century with a single nave and it retains a pew inside along with a slab with pieces of slate.
