Mas de les Torres is located in the historic centre of Vilanova de la Muga in Peralada municipality and dates to medieval times. It is a rectangular building with a square inner courtyard and a square tower. The main building features an Arabic tile roof and has a ground floor with porches, a first floor, and an attic. The tower has four storeys. The main entrance is a large portal with a semi-circular voussoir arch. The farmhouse became the property of the Marquis of Alfarràs in the early 18th century, who carried out important reforms, including the arcaded gallery in the southern courtyard. The tower in the southeast corner of the farmhouse was severely damaged in a 2014 storm. It was restored in 2015-2016. Eight 14th-century stone projectiles were recovered during the renovation.
