Santa Maria de Molins was the castle chapel. Construction dates to the 12th century and only a handful of elements from this building remain. The current church was built much later: located in the heart of Molins as its parish church, it separated from Llers in 1793. Construction ended in 1789. A rosette decorates the centre of the main façade. The bell tower on the left side of the nave is a square brick tower with pointed arches. This church was completed in 1789, the date carved into the lintel. The rectory, which was added on the west side of the church, was built in 1784. The town belonged to the parish of Sant Julià de Llers, of which the chapel of Santa Maria in Molins castle was a suffragan diocese prior to the construction of this church.
