The Santa Llúcia Hermitage in Sant Miquel de Solans is documented from the 10th century, as a church on a property belonging to Sant Pere de Rodes. The current church is of late Romanesque style and dates back to the 12th and 13th centuries. It is supposed that in the 17th or 18th century it would no longer be devoted to Saint Michael but rather it became a sanctuary dedicated to Saint Lucia. It is located in a recreational area for people who want to spend some time in the countryside and admire the area from a magnificent watchtower. On Easter Monday, the pilgrimage dedicated to the Virgin, which brings together many residents from Empordà and Roussillon who meet there to celebrate the gathering.
