The Vinyes Mortes II Dolmen is a passage tomb with a long trapezoidal chamber made of large gneiss stones and which no longer has its capstone. The chamber was accessed through a narrow, low passageway. The whole stone construction was covered by a large mound made of earth and small stones. Archaeological excavations were carried out in this dolmen during which small fragments of handmade and undecorated pottery were found. This discovery suggests that this passage tomb was in use from the time of its construction, in the second half of the 4th millennium BC, until the Bronze Age.
