The Castle of Desvinyol was located northwest of Llers, apparently it was situated around the Camí dels Enamorats, its remains were likely used to build the walls of the surrounding fields. Gallart Desvinyol gave the name to the castle when he was its owner and lord by succession and descent from the lords of the Castle of l'Hortal. Later on, it was owned by the lords of Gralla and Desplà and also of Rexacó, among others.
