Can Casagran (Llers) Also known as Can Casa Gran Vell or Antic (both meaning: The Old House). The origins of the current house go back to one which, together with the hospital, lead to Carrer Nou. It was inhabited by Met Jaja’s family (sic). The current manor house dates back to 1908. After the explosion in the town of Llers caused by the republican army in February 1939, which resulted in the destruction of many of the town’s buildings, Can Casagran was temporarily used to house the City Council, schools and also to officiate religious acts. Noteworthy are the adornments based on plant-motif sgraffitos, located on the dividing line between the first and second floors of the four exterior façades. Inside, the building is arranged into three perpendicular bays to the main façade. There are rooms covered with structures made from wooden beams and it currently house the Llers Council Offices.
