Creu d'altar de Sant Martí de Pau
The cross of Sant Martí de Pau’s alter which can be admired at the Girona Art Museum was built in the 15th or 16th century. It’s gilded in silver and with enamel and is decorated with various floral motifs throughout its structure. The birth of Jesus is portrayed in the middle of the cross. At the top, there is a small piece placed diagonally containing two letters and it appears that there must have been a few more at one time, which are missing. The base of the cross is decorated with geometric motifs.
