This lectern-style vantage point facing south-west offers magnificent views of the Forcat Islands, Cap Norfeu, Cadaqués, Cala Fredosa and Cala Jugadora, El Pení, the Coll de la Perafita mountain pass and the Cap de Creus lighthouse. It also offers good views of the vegetation which is characteristic of this section of landscape: the scrubland. The profile of the coast provides a feast for the eyes, with a succession of small coves, cliffs, peaks, islets, reefs and scarps, which together make up a unique landscape. Most of the vegetation in the area is made up of mosaics of bushes and scrubland with dry Mediterranean meadows. The fact that Cadaqués is located in the middle of rocky massifs in constant contact with the sea has enabled it to retain its fishing tradition. The fusion of the sea and the mountains in such a small space forms one of the most exceptional landscapes of the Alt Empordà.
