Interior height: 2.40 m | Inner diameter Ø: 2.00 m
Large simple truncated cone stone hut, covered with a false vault, inscribed on the front of the wall at the intersection of two walls of the plot. As indicated by Jenar Fèlix in The dry stone huts of the Garriga d'Empordà, it is one of the first large huts in the area, probably from the early decades of the 19th century. It is the second generation of huts on this property, replacing a first hut, much smaller and currently overgrown, which is inserted a short distance away in the same wall lock. With the new construction, the hut is ennobled: it grows in size and the construction technique is very meticulous. We see, for example, the neat façade with its well-laid wall, the eaves on the upper level or the large door with lintel above and three large overlapping pieces.
Restoration promoted by Llers Town Council with the support of the Dept. of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia in the framework of the "Subsidies for the execution of works of restoration and conservation of buildings of notable cultural value for the three-year period 2020-2022" and carried out by E.I. Foresterra SCCL.
