It is a construction that, in terms of model and dimensions, does not compare with what was being built in the Garrigueta, where the establishments were raised in the third quarter of the 19th century. We find more parallels in the middle part of the Còrrec de les Costes. It is one of the tallest stone huts in the area, with a circumference of 415 cm and a diameter of 275 cm. Inside, it has a bed of dry stone, one of the few in the Garriga, as well as hooks on the vault and a niche. Declared a Cultural Asset of Local Interest.
Project sponsored by the Gonçal Comellas school in Avinyonet de Puigventós as part of the campaign “Raising awareness among the local population to protect the heritage of the Garriga d'Empordà” in the framework of the PECT “Valorisation of the dry stone construction heritage of the Garriga d’Empordà”.
