Vantage point from the Serrat del Sentinella Verified listing

The vantage point of the Serrat del Sentinella is located on the outskirts of the town of Darnius. We are treated to an excellent panoramic view from this spot. In the foreground we can see the entire Darnius-Boadella reservoir, and in the background there are several mountains known as the Aspres de l’Empordà, with a range of heights and reliefs. The Salut de Terrades i el Puig de les Escaules Sanctuary can be seen on one of the peaks. The extensive areas of evergreen oak woodlands stand out, which have been exploited over the last few centuries for cork. On the other side, the construction of the reservoir has also led to the consolidation of leisure and sports activities that have revitalised the local economy.
