This church is the older of the two that are preserved in Vila-robau. It served as the town’s parish church until a new church was built in the 18th century. It is a small single-nave building with a long barrel vault ceiling, with a horseshoe-shaped apse and a quarter-sphere vault that opens directly onto the nave. Two side chapels were later added, likely in modern times. The façade has a door with slightly lowered single semi-circular arch, built with small rough-hewn stones in the form of voussoirs. There is a simple and primitive chair bell gable. The arches that separate the side chapels feature mural paintings from the 18th century, while the apse wall preserves the remains of a mural painting attributed to the Romanesque period. The church is privately owned and was partially cleaned and repaired a few years ago.
