he Dolmen de la Creu Blanca (White Cross Dolmen) is practically devastated. It was likely to have been a passage tomb consisting of a rectangular burial chamber and a narrow access passageway leading into it. The slabs which were used to build it are made of gneiss extracted from the area. The whole complex, which no longer exists today, was covered by a mound which was made into a monument. The dolmen had an opening leading to the burial chamber on the outside of the perimeter of the embankment. These are funerary constructions from prehistoric times dating from the Mid-Neolithic to the Late Neolithic periods, during the 4th millennium BC. These megalithic tombs were used as collective burial places for the communities that populated the area.
