A detached building consisting of just the ground floor, built on a fairly steep rocky terrain. The construction takes advantage of this irregularity of the ground, arranging itself into small sections in the shape of a cube staggered and attached to each other, which give it a more or less rectangular-shaped floor plan with flat roofs, some of which are terraced. Externally, there are both square and rectangular windows and doors, some closed with louvred shutters and others protected by a prominent overhang. Inside, the house has two distinct areas. At the top, the rooms are distributed around a central square courtyard. Noteworthy are the living room, dining room and kitchen. In contrast, at the bottom, the spaces are arranged around a passageway located on the north side, which also leads outdoors. Therefore, the rooms in this part of the house are the bedrooms. It is a Rationalist construction by José Antonio Coderch, built between 1961 and 1962 and declared as a cultural asset of national interest.
Image of one of the original plans from the architectural project of the Can Rozés house, in which the layout and plan of the basic structure of the building can be seen. We also find the signature of the author of the project, the architect José Antonio Coderch de Sentmenat, and its date, 1962. The house is located on the tip of the Almadrava, in the municipality of Roses, and is a magnificent testament to the modern architectural style.
